Mechanic Breakdown

Caustic Pools #1

Players will soak the puddles that spawn around the arena in "role pairs", meaning both Tanks will soak a puddle together, the Healers will soak a puddle together, the Range will soak a puddle together, and the Melee will soak a puddle together.

The far puddles spawn on random intercards, and the close puddles spawn on random cardinals.

Tanks and Healers will prioritize the puddles starting from North going clockwise, while the Melee and Ranged will prioritize puddles starting from NW going counter-clockwise.

Venom Surge/Squall

Squall/Surge #1

The boss will either cast Venom Surge or Venom Squall.

If it's Squall, players move out to clock spots first, then bait aoes center, then move out to your group stack.

If it's Surge, take your group stacks East/West then bait aoes center, then spread back out into your clock spots.

Group 1 will stack West, Group 2 will stack East.

Squall/Surge #2

Two large poison puddles will block off the arena. Using the light parties and spread positions from the pre-pull setup, find the safe corner and wait for the crystal explosion before spreading out.

It will always be Venom Squall for this mechanic, so spread out first, then bait your aoes, then move in to take the stack damage with your group.

Group 1 prioritizes North, Group 2 prioritizes South.
(sometimes Group 2 will be moving into the North quadrant, but the initial safe spot is on the South side, don't think about it too hard!)

πŸ”— Devour/Bite Braindead spot for 1-2-3 CW

Pattern #1: 1-2-1 (CW > CCW)

Wait across from the first aoe then when the second aoe explodes run diagonally across to where was the first aoe and chill there until the rest of the aoes resolve.

Pattern #2: 1-2-3 (CW)

Wait at the CCW quadrant from the first aoe. Once the first aoe explode, move into the first aoe pizza slice, then wait for the fourth explosion before moving diagonally back and wait there for the last aoes to resolve.
